TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Check the following before requesting service: SYMPTOM No power. POSSIBLE CAUSE Built-in battery drained POSSIBLE SOLUTION Recharge the battery as page 11. During charging, you can play DVD/CD as usual. Condensation has formed. Wait it about one to two hours until the player is dry. Disc can not be play. Wrong type of discs or the disc is corrupted. Try other discs. No picture and/or no sound. The disc is dirty or inserted incorrectly. The connection cables are not connected correctly. The connected TV power is off. Clean disc and insert with label side up. Reconnect the cables as page 13. Turn on TV. Playback picture rolling. Color system of the player has wrong settings. Press the N/P Button repeatedly until correct picture appears on TV. Picture quality no good. The disc is dirty. Clean the disc. Remote control not working. The batteries are weak or dead. The batteries are not installed properly. The remote is not aimed at the sensor. Distance is too far. Replace batteries. Install batteries as the polarity markings inside battery compartment. Aim the remote to the sensor. Operate within 16". The unit does not start playback. There is an obstacle in the path of the beam. Remove obstacle. DVD not inserted, or inserted up-side-down. Insert DVD disc correctly. A non-playable disc is inserted. Try other CD, DVD discs. The disc is not placed on the tray. The disc is dirty. Place the disc on the disc tray with label side face up.
