. Check and see if rubber washer is in the "Y" connector. Remove old rubber washer from inlet hose and replace with new rubber washer provided. Vent must fit over the exhaust hood. Secure vent to exhaust hood with 4" (102 mm) clamp. Run vent to dryer location using straightest path possible. Avoid - Maytag MGD6000XR | Installation Instructions - Page 13
. Attach other end of long hose to fill valve at bottom of dryer back panel. Screw on coupling by hand until it is seated on a wire mesh strainer inside the coupling. 4. R emove outer window assembly from trim ring 5. Reverse outer window assembly Handle A A B Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws from the outer window retainer and rotate the outer window assembly clockwise until the square notches line up with the 4 tabs on the trim ring - Maytag MGD6000XR | Installation Instructions - Page 18
6. Rotate and reassemble outer window assembly to trim ring Bottom of door 7.
