Learning to Use Your Phone Storing a Phone Number Enter a phone number in the home screen, then press STORE (+) to create a phonebook entry with that number. Press DONE (-) to store the number by itself, or fill in the other fields as necessary to complete the entry. If you assign a Name to the phonebook entry, you can select MORE to store another number (for example, a work number) for the same Name. Recording a Voice Name When creating a phonebook entry, scroll to Voice Name and press RECORD (+). Press and release the voice key and say the entry's name (within 2 seconds). When prompted, press and release the voice key and repeat the name. Note: This option is not available for entries stored on the SIM card. Dialing a Number Press M > Phonebook, highlight the phonebook entry, press N to call. Shortcut: In the phonebook, press a keypad key one or more times to jump to entries that begin with the key's letters. Voice Dialing a Number Press and release the voice key, and say the entry's name (within 2 seconds). 61
