Putting a Call on Hold Action 1 Press HOLD (a), CALL ON HOLD displays. Note: If Clock Mode is on, CALL ON HOLD displays for only 5 seconds. 2 To return to the call, press ON. Note: A call can remain on hold for up to 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, CALL ON HOLD RING BACK! displays. You have 30 seconds to return to the call before it is dropped/ disconnected. Saving a Name/Number in the Phonebook Saving names and numbers in the phonebook makes it easy to dial numbers you call frequently. You can enter up to 50 numbers directly into the phonebook or add them from the caller ID or redial list. Each handset phonebook is unique and is not accessible by other handsets or the base station. Action 1 From the standby screen, enter the phone number, then press PHNBK (a).
