ENGLISH 3.21.5 Announcement This is the message your callers hear on the answering machine. There are two prerecorded outgoing messages, or you can record your own. 3.21.5.1 Recording the announcement 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANSWER MACHINE. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANNOUNCEMENT. 3. Press MENU to select RECORD. 4. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select the answer mode ANNC & RECORD or ANNOUNCE ONLY. 5. Press MENU to start recording after the beep. 6. Press MENU again to stop recording and save the message. The just saved message is played automatically. NOTE When playing the message, pressing MUTE will delete it and the pre-recorded message will be played automatically. 3.21.5.2 Playing the announcement 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANSWER MACHINE. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANNOUNCEMENT. 3. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select PLAY. 4. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select the answer mode ANNC & RECORD or ANNOUNCE ONLY. 5. Press MENU and the message is played. 3.21.6 Recording a memo You can record a memo which is stored in your answering machine and played back like a normal message. 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANSWER MACHINE. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select RECORD MEMO. 3. Press MENU to start recording. 4.
