Learning to Use Your Phone The message center lets you compose and send text messages. A flashing cursor shows where text will appear: Flashing cursor indicates insertion point. 5Msg: P V^ Press to open sub-menu. CANCEL e BROWSE Press BROWSE ( ) to view and insert a quick note. Press CANCEL ( ) to exit without making changes. When you enter text using the standard tap method (see page 31), the flashing cursor changes to a block cursor, and the soft key functions change: Block cursor 5 indicates Msg: highlighted T character. P V^ After two seconds, block cursor reverts to flashing cursor and moves to next position. DELETE e OK Press OK ( ) to accept and store text.
