HOW TO TURN CALL DIVERT ON STANDARD TOUCH TONE PHONE STEP 1 Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone. STEP 2 Dial # 7 8 STEP 3 Listen for the confirmation tone (2 short beeps). STEP 4 Replace the receiver. When Call Divert is still on, you will hear a short ring when someone is calling to remind you that your calls are still being diverted. Handy Hint Call Divert is great if you have a mobile phone. Just turn it on when you leave the house to have all calls transferred to your mobile number.
