Advanced> Multimedia Support>Enable/Disable IGMP In networks where multimedia applications generate multicast traffic, Internet Group Multicast Protocol (IGMP) can greatly reduce unnecessary bandwidth usage by limiting traffic forwarding that is otherwise broadcast to the whole network. Enabling IGMP will allow individual ports to detect IGMP queries, report packets, and manage IP multicast traffic through the switch. IGMP Enable The system will detect IGMP queries, report packets, and manage IP multicast traffic through the switch Disable The switch will forward traffic and disregard any IGMP requests.
