GS700TPS Smart Switch Software Administration Manual IPv6 Rules The IPv6 Rules screen allows an IPv6 Rule to be defined within a configured ACL. Rules can be added only if the ACL is not bound to an interface. To define IPv6 Rules: 1. Click Security > ACL > IPv6 Rules. The IPv6 Rules screen displays: Figure 6-19 The IPv6 Rules screen contains the following fields: IPv6 Rules • ACL Name - Select the ACL Name from the list. IPv6 Rules Table • Priority - Enter the rule priority. When the packet is matched to a rule, user groups are either granted permission or denied device management access. The rule number is essential to matching packets to rules, as packets are matched on a first-fit basis. • Protocol ID - Enter the protocol in the rule to which the packet is matched. • Source IP Address - Enter the source IP Address. • Prefix Length - Enter the source IP Prefix Length. The Prefix field is applicable only when the IPV6 Static IP address is defined as a Global IPv6 address. The range is 5 - 128. • Destination IP Address - Enter the destination IP address. • Prefix Length - Enter the destination IP Prefix Length. The Prefix field is applicable only when the IPV6 Static IP address is defined as a Global IPv6 address.
