3 Start shooting. Highlight Start and press J. The first series of shots will be taken at the specified starting time, or after about 3 s if Now was selected for Start options in Step 2. Shooting will continue at the selected interval until all shots have been taken; while shooting is in progress, the memory card access lamp will flash at regular intervals. Note that because shutter speed and the time needed to record the image to the memory card may vary from shot to shot, intervals may be skipped if the camera is still in the process of recording the previous interval; choose an interval longer than the slowest anticipated shutter speed. If shooting can not proceed at current settings (for example, if a shutter speed of "Bulb" or "Time" is currently selected in shooting mode M, the interval is zero, or the start time is in less than a minute), a warning will be displayed in the monitor. 104 More on Photography
