If supported by your SIM card, you can prevent the line selection by selecting the option Lock. Phone settings To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Phone settings. Select • Phone language to select the language for the display texts. If you select Automatic, the phone selects the language according to the information on the SIM card. • Memory status to view the total amount of free and used shared memory and the amount of memory used by different functions. • Automatic keyguard to set the keypad to lock automatically after a certain length of time when the phone is in standby mode. See also Keypad lock (Keyguard) on page 29. To activate the automatic keyguard, select On and set the time after which the keypad is locked. To deactivate the automatic keyguard, select Off. Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your phone (e.g. 112, 911 or other official emergency number). Key in the emergency number and press . The number is displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit. • Cell info display to set the phone to indicate when it is used in a cellular network based on the Micro Cellular Network (MCN) technology (network service).
