Calling Emergency Numbers You can place calls to 911 (dial and press ), even if your phone is locked or your account is restricted. In-Call Options Pressing Options during a call displays a list of features you may use during the course of a call. To use an option, highlight the option and press Select. The following options are available through the Options menu: ⅷ Loudspeaker-routes the phone's audio through the speaker. (You can adjust the speaker volume using the volume keys on the side of the phone.) Ⅲ If Loudspeaker is on, the Options menu displays Handset to route the phone's audio to the handset. Warning! Due to higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear during speakerphone use. ⅷ New call-initiates a 3-way call. ⅷ End all calls -ends all current calls. ⅷ Touch tones-changes the phone's touch tone. ⅷ Contacts-displays the list of contacts. ⅷ Menu-displays the phone's main menu. During a call, the volume keys on the side of the phone adjust the loudness of the headset speaker, and the middle softkey button functions as the Mute button.
