Tips before you start taking pictures Record mode TIPS • When a picture is transferred to a computer, the size of the picture on the computer screen varies depending on the computer's monitor setting. For instance, a picture taken with an image size of 1,024 × 768 fills as the screen if you set the picture to 1× when the monitor setting is 1,024 × 768. However, if the monitor setting is over 1,024 × 768 (such as 1,280 × 1,024), the picture only takes up part of the screen. 2 • The number of storable still pictures/recording time is displayed on the monitor when a card is inserted in the camera.
