SHOOTING BASICS Shooting modes This camera allows you to take still pictures and record movies. You can select the appropriate mode from the SCENE SELECT (PROGRAM AUTO/ / / / ) depending on the shooting conditions and the effect you want to achieve when you take still pictures. The factory default setting of the shooting mode is PROGRAM AUTO. For normal shooting which does not require any special setting or effect, you do not need to follow this procedure. 1 Open the lens barrier fully. • The camera turns on in the shooting mode. En 2 Press . • The top menu is displayed. 3 Press on the arrow pad to select MODE MENU. 4 Press to select the CAMERA tab, and press . 5 Press to select SCENE SELECT, and press . 6 Press to select PROGRAM AUTO, , , or depending on the shooting conditions and the effect you want to achieve. 7 Press • Press . again to exit the menu. (Still picture) Lets you take a still picture. You can select one of the five shooting modes depending on the situation. (Movie) Lets you record movies. Selected from the shooting mode top menu. Shooting modes
This camera allows you to take still pictures and record movies. You can
