Creating panoramic images [PANORAMA] B CAMERA MENU X PANORAMA E: P s Panorama shooting lets you create a panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS Master 2 software on the provided CD-ROM. The focus, exposure (p. 20), zoom position (p. 19), and [WB] (p. 24) are locked at the first frame. The flash (p. 19) is fixed to $ (FLASH OFF) mode. 1 Use klmn to select the direction that the frames are combined. 2 Press the shutter button to take the first frame, and then compose the second shot. ● The part of the previous picture where it will be joined to the next picture does not remain in the frame. You have to remember what the part in the frame looked like and take the next picture so it overlaps. 3 Repeat Step 2 until the number of desired frames is taken, and then press the B button when finished. When the g mark is displayed, you cannot continue shooting any further. Panorama shooting is possible for up to 10 frames. Refer to the OLYMPUS Master 2 help guide for details on how to make panorama images. (The camera automatically detects a face and a frame is displayed.) iESP This enables you to compose the shot without worrying about the focusing position. The camera finds the subject to focus on and automatically adjusts the focus. SPOT The camera focuses on the subject located within the AF target mark. *1 For some subjects, the frame may not appear or may take some time to appear. 26 EN
