Power on/off The camera can be turned on in "shooting mode" or "playback mode." Never open the card cover, or connect or disconnect the battery, AC adaptor or power coupler while the camera is turned on. Such actions could destroy all the data on the card. Once destroyed, data cannot be restored. En When you use the camera for the first time, the message saying [Y/M/D] appears on the monitor.
