Pressing the ON/STANDBY button to select Standby mode does not fully disconnect from the mains. If you do not intend to use the unit for an extended period, remove the AC adaptor from the AC outlet. 5. Preventing Hearing Loss Caution Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. 6. Batteries and Heat Exposure Warning Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat as sunshine, fire or the like. 7.
