V770 Each time the icon is selected, the indication changes by one setting in the following order: ([COLOR]) # [OFF] ([COLOR]): Allows you to record color images in very low light situations. OFF: Cancel the setting. ≥ Using a tripod is recommended. ≥ In darker areas, Auto Focus may focus a bit slower. This is normal. Night Mode ([COLOR]) ≥ Recorded scene is seen as if frames were missed. ≥ If set in a bright place, the screen may become washed out for a while. ≥ Bright dots that are usually invisible may be seen, but this is not a malfunction. WX970 / VX870 Night Mode ([Infrared]) ≥ Do not use ([Infrared]) in a bright location. Doing so may cause a malfunction. ≥ When ([Infrared]) is set, observe the following points: j Do not cover the infrared light with your hand or other object. j When a conversion lens (optional) is attached to this unit, do not use the setting. ≥ The maximum distance that the infrared light can reach is approximately 3 m (9.8 feet). ≥ You can record a clear image by positioning the center area of the screen over the subject. HDR Effect You can change the level of image contrast correction in HDR Movie Mode. (l 59) The icon changes each time you touch it. (Low) # (High) (Low): Sets the correction level to low. (High): Sets the correction level to high. ≥ You cannot change the level of this effect when recording a motion picture or during PRE-REC. ≥ You may not see the full effect depending on the recording conditions.
