Voice Mail Service Voice mail service is an electronic on-line answering system offered by your telephone company. After subscribing, the voice mail system can answer calls automatically when your line is busy or if calls are not answered. Callers can leave messages by following the pre-recorded instructions. When voice mail messages are recorded, "Voicemail" and " " will be displayed and the VOICE MAIL indicator on the base unit will flash. To use this feature, you must first store your access number. Storing a Voice Mail Access Number Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially. 1 Press (FUNCTION/EXIT/CH). 2 Press Ö or Ñ repeatedly until the arrow points to "Program", and press FWD/EDIT á (Yes key). HProgram GF H=Yes 3 Press Ö or Ñ repeatedly until the arrow points to "Save mailbox#", and press FWD/EDIT á (Yes key). HSave mailbox# Voicemail tone GF H=Yes 4 Enter your access number, up to 32 digits. •You may enter pauses*. •If you enter a wrong number, press (INTERCOM/CLEAR). Digits are erased from the right. To erase all digits, press and hold (INTERCOM/CLEAR). 1234567PPP890 IH G=Next 5 Press Ö (Next key). •If you want to edit the entered number, press Ñ (Edit key) and return to step 4. 1234567PPP890 F=Edit H=Save 6 Press FWD/EDIT á (Save key). •A beep sounds. •To return to the standby mode, press (FUNCTION/EXIT/CH). 1234567PPP890 Save mailbox# *For quick access to your voice mail box by using (FLASH/CALL!WAIT/VOICE!MAIL) or (VOICE!MAIL), you may add pauses between your voice mail box access number and your mail box password in step 4. EX. 1-222-333-4444 PPPP 8888 Your voice mail box access number Your mail box password Pauses Pressing (REDIAL/PAUSE) once creates a 3.5 seconds delay and counts as one digit.
