L Confirm the speed of Internet connection. The unit requires 100 kbps for each upstream and downstream. If less than 100 kbps is provided, contact your administrator. Caller ID Problem Caller information is not displayed. The displayed caller information is not correct. Caller information is displayed late. The name stored in the phonebook is not displayed fully while an outside call is being received. Cause/solution L Availability of this service depends on your phone system. Contact your administrator. L Caller information may not be correct depending on your phone system. L Move closer to the base unit. L Edit the phonebook entry name to fit in 1 line of text (page 21, 24). Liquid damage Problem Liquid or other form of moisture has entered the base unit/ handset. Cause/solution L Disconnect the AC adaptor and Ethernet cable from the base unit. Remove the batteries from the handset and leave to dry for at least 3 days. After the base unit/handset are completely dry, reconnect the AC adaptor and Ethernet cable. Insert the batteries and charge fully before use. If the unit does not work properly, contact your phone system dealer. Caution: L To avoid permanent damage, do not use a microwave oven to speed up the drying process. 55
