3, 4 PHOTO SHOT 1, 2 1, 2 TAPE CARD CARD MODE 3 MENU W.B / SHUTTER / IRIS PUSH MF / VOL / JOG 1 2 F 7 640 PICTURE 4 MPEG4 3 VOICE Recording on the Memory Card 3 kinds of data can be recorded by selecting with the [TAPE/CARD/ CARD MODE] Selector. When recording a still picture, slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector until the [PICTURE] Indication 1 appears (Card PhotoShot), when recording a moving picture, slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector until the [MPEG4] Indication 2 appears (MPEG4 Recording), when recording voice, slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector until the [VOICE] Indication 3 appears (Voice Recording). ª Card PhotoShot Still pictures can be recorded on the Memory Card from the Palmcorder lens as well as from scenes that have already been recorded on a cassette. Recording from the Palmcorder Lens (CAMERA Mode) 1 Slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector to [CARD]. 2 Slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector to [CARD MODE] until the [PICTURE] Indication appears. ≥Remaining Number of Card PhotoShot pictures 4. 3 Press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button. ≥The [ PICTURE ] Indication will light in red. Recording from a Cassette (VCR Mode) 1 Slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector to [CARD]. 2 Slide the [TAPE/CARD/CARD MODE] Selector to [CARD MODE] until the [PICTURE] Indication appears. 3 Set [VCR FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD SETUP] >> [PICTURE QUALITY] >> a desired picture quality. 4 Start playback and press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button at the scene you want to record. ≥While the image is being recorded, it stays still for a few seconds. 52
