Menu Operations AUDIO ADJUST 1 Press the MENU button to display the MENU screen and select ADJUST. MENU 2 Press to select AUDIO ADJUST. Notes: • "NORMAL" means the MODE is in the factory default setting. "NORMAL" changes to "NORMALIZE" when you change the setting of BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, SURROUND or EQUALIZER. • You can normalize each MODE separately. MODE MODE DYNAMIC MUSIC AUTO STANDARD Function Gives contrast to sound. For programs consisting mainly of music. Enhances high sounds (around 4 kHz). Automatically adjusts for a wide Dynamic Range. Emits the original sound. BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, SURROUND, EQUALIZER You can change the level of each sub-menu (BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, SURROUND and EQUALIZER) for each MODE (AUTO, STANDARD, DYNAMIC and MUSIC) according to your personal preference. Sub-menu Function BASS Adjusts low frequencies. TREBLE Adjusts high frequencies. BALANCE Adjusts left and right volume. SURROUND To enjoy a concert hall effect, select ON when stereo is playing. EQUALIZER Makes voice sound clear. Normally set to ON. STEREO/SAP/MONO Note: • Red display : With signal White display : No signal White display (All modes) : MONO • To change the mode using SAP button (see page 10).
