Inserting the battery Removing the battery While sliding the BATTERY lever, slide the battery to remove it. Push the battery against the battery holder and slide it until it clicks. ≥ Hold the battery with your hand so that it does not fall. ≥ Before removing the battery, be sure to set the mode dial to OFF and check that the status indicator is off. ≥ Do not heat or expose to flame. ≥ Do not leave a battery pack in an automobile exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed.
