Inserting the battery Removing the battery While sliding the BATTERY lever, slide the battery to remove it. Push the battery against the battery holder and slide it until it clicks. ≥ Hold the battery with your hand so that it does not fall. ≥ Before removing the battery, be sure to set the mode dial to OFF and check that the status indicator is off. ≥ Do not heat or expose to flame. ≥ Do not leave a battery pack in an automobile exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed. CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
