AVC-LongG employs inter-frame (Long GOP) compression, utilizing the temporal correlation between adjacent pictures in the GOP, thereby providing significantly higher coding efficiency and lower bit rates. Your files will hit hyper-speeds over your network with lower bandwidth requirements that means less time to upload your server than MPEG2 files of comparable quality, and less space to archive. Ideal for providing on-air content direct from the shooting location and for workflows using content transferred over the internet. Three CODEC choices / bit rates are available: AVC-LongG50, AVC-LongG25 and AVC-LongG12. AVCLongG50/25 support full raster HD with 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling at a bit rates of 50 and 25 Mbps respectively. AVC-LongG12 supports full HD raster resolution with 8-bit 4:2:0 sampling at a mere 12Mbps, making it ideal for file-based IP delivery. 6.) What is AVC-Intra Class50? AVC-Intra 100 is full raster and provides users with master quality HD recording in all the HD formats, 1080 i/p and 720p. 8.) What is AVC-Intra Class200? AVC-Intra Class200 doubles the bit rate of Class100 and compresses a 1080 or 720p, 10-bit, 4:2:2 image to around 200 Mbps.
