BEFORE YOU USE THE PLAYER HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO! 301 CD giga changer for the compact 16 inch width The new roulette-type mechanism allows for a capacity of 301 CDs. One-disc jump-in playback thanks to a single loader slot The PD-F1009 is equipped with a single loader that lets you easily play a disc that is not loaded in the rack. What's more, a priority key makes for excellent operability of the jump-in play function. Compatible with recordable CDs As well as regular CDs, this unit can play CD-R and CD-RW discs. CD TEXT compatible The disc titles are displayed while playing CD TEXT disc. Many handy functions for taking maximum advantage of the changer The PD-F1009 is equipped with three listening modes (ALL, SINGLE and CUSTOM) with 5 custom files, as well as a direct button for even greater operability. What's more, a jog dial on the main unit makes it even easier to select discs and so on. Disc detection function When the hood is closed, the set automatically detects whether or not a disc is loaded. Energy-saving design This unit is designed to use 1W of energy when this player is in standby mode. Notes!! • In order to prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries when not using the remote control unit for an extended period (one month or more). If leakage occurs, carefully wipe away any battery fluid inside the compartment, and replace the batteries with new ones. • Do not allow books or other objects to rest on top of the remote control unit, since the buttons may be depressed, causing faster exhaustion of the batteries. Incorrect use of batteries may cause leakage or rupture. Always be sure to follow these guidelines: A. Always insert batteries into the battery compartment correctly matching the positive ª and negative · polarities, as shown by the display inside the compartment. B. Never mix new and used batteries. C. Batteries of the same size may have different voltages, depending on brand. Do not mix different brands of batteries.
