7 Home Menu The Network Standby menu This setting allows the AirPlay function for operating the receiver from a computer connected on the same LAN as the receiver to be used even when the receiver is in the standby mode. 1 Select 'Network Standby' from the Home Menu. Network Standby Network Standby OFF Return 2 Choose ON or OFF for the Network Standby. • ON - The AirPlay function can be used even when the receiver is in the standby mode. • OFF - The AirPlay function cannot be used when the receiver is in the standby mode (This lets you reduce power consumption in the standby mode). - If the Network Standby setting is set to ON, the power consumption during standby will increase. 3 When you're finished, press RETURN. You return to the Home Menu. The ZONE2 Setup When making multi-zone connections using the ZONE 2 OUT terminals and performing playback in Zone 2, you can set whether to adjust the Zone 2 volume on the receiver or to fix it to a specific volume. • Default setting: Variable 1 Select 'ZONE2 Setup' from the Home Menu. ZONE2 Setup Vol Level Variable Return 2 Select the Vol Level setting you want. • Variable - This will output audio at the same volume as main zone. • 40 Fixed - Volume will be fixed at 40. • MAX Fixed - Volume will be fixed at maximum output. 3 When you're finished, press ENTER. You return to the Home Menu. The 12 V Trigger Setting If the input switches over to the input function set here, a control signal is output from the receiver's 12 V trigger terminal, and operations such as power coupling with other devices and equipment can be achieved. 1 Select '12V Trigger' from the Home Menu. ZONE2 Setup 10 . 12V Trigger 10 . 12V Trigger Input DVR/BDR 12V Trigger [ OFF ] Return 2 Select the input function that triggers simultaneous operation of 12 V trigger output. 3 Choose ON or OFF for the 12V Trigger. 4 When you're finished, press RETURN. You return to the Home Menu. 51
