HDMI 2.1 for a powerful viewing and gaming experience The VSX-LX505 ensures its HDMI terminals*1 support 8K/60p (4:4:4/12-bit*2, 4:2:0/10-bit*3), 8K/30p (4:4:4/12-bit*2, 4:4:4/10-bit*3, 4:2:2/12-bit*3, 4:2:0/12bit), 4K/120p (4:4:4/12-bit*2, 4:4:4/10-bit*3, 4:2:2/12bit*3, 4:2:0/12-bit) video passthrough to compatible displays, as well as HDCP 2.3*4 so you will have no problem when upgrading to new devices. HDMI 2.1 also supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to eliminate lag, stutter and frame-tearing to deliver a fluid gaming experience.
