HAL Hardware EXP7x Conferencing Application The application above has a number of microphones used in a room with overhead sound reinforcement. In this type of system, sound reinforcement is typically strengthened and delay compensation added as a loudspeaker gets further from the original source. In this scenario, if room acoustics are good, it is possible to use a single AEC processing block for more than one microphone by combining microphones in a common reinforcement zone.
