TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Line will not advance when using the auto-feed head POSSIBLE CAUSE Line is welded to itself. Not enough line on spool. Line is worn too short. Line is tangled on spool. Grass wraps around boom housing and string head Cutting tall grass at ground level. Motor fails to start when switch Battery is not secure. trigger is depressed Battery is not charged. Shaft not connected completely. SOLUTION Lubricate with silicone spray. Replace the spool. Refer to Spool Replacement earlier in this manual. Pull line while pressing button. Refer to Advancing Line and Advancing The Line Manually earlier in this manual. Remove and replace the spool. Refer to Spool Replacement earlier in this manual. Cut tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping. To secure the battery pack, make sure the latches on the battery pack are snapped into place. Charge the battery pack according to the instructions included with your model.
