using basic functions Use messaging shortcuts in Quick access mode Learn to use some messaging shortcuts in Quick access mode by sliding open the phone. 1. In Menu mode, select Settings → Phone settings → Quick access → On (if necessary). 2. Press [ ] to return to Idle mode. 3. Slide open the phone. 4. Rotate the phone anti-clockwise to landscape view. 5. Scroll left or right to use the following menus: Menu Create message Description Create a new text or multimedia message Communities View photos and videos on the web via various websites 26 Menu Conversations Fring messenger Description View messages you have sent and received Chat with your friends instantly Customise your phone Get more from your phone by customising it to match your preferences. Adjust the volume of the key tones In Idle mode, press [ / ] to adjust the key tone volume. Switch to or from the silent profile In Idle mode, press and hold [ ] to silence or unsilence your phone.
