When the VBR encoded files are played back, the LCD will appear as shown. - The VBR icon will be displayed instead of the Bit rate icon. - Playing time will be displayed but not the total running time.  For about 2 seconds of the start and end frames of the PMP file, no camera button except the POWER button can be operated.  When an MP3 file doesn't play back correctly, download a free MP3 conversion program and convert it before using the MP3 file on the camera.  Depending on the file type, the movie may be paused during playing back in the PMP mode. The movie restarts automatically and it is not a camera malfunction.
