advanced recording White Balance Using the White Balance function, you can select a setting that matches the light illuminating the subject you are shooting (Daylight, Fluorescent, etc.). White Balance Auto Daylight 1/2 Cloudy Fluorescent Understanding White Balance White balance (WB) is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white are rendered white in your image. Proper white balance has to take into account the "color temperature" of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white light.
