advanced recording White Balance Using the White Balance function, you can select a setting that matches the light illuminating the subject you are shooting (Daylight, Fluorescent, etc.). Proper white balance has to take into account the "color temperature" of a light source, which refers to the relative warmth or coolness of white light.
