Operating your VCR (DVD) with the Remote Control 1 Press MODE button to make VCR indicator on the remote control flash. • If you want to operate your DVD player, press the Device Select button until the DVD indicator on the remote control flashes. 2 Point the remote control toward the VCR (DVD). 3 Press POWER( ) button to turn on the VCR (DVD). 4 While holding down POWER( ) button, enter the code corresponding to your brand of VCR (DVD). • If the code matches the VCR (DVD)'s code, the VCR (DVD) will be turned off. • If there is more than one code listed for your VCR (DVD) in the table, enter one at a time to determine which code works. 5 If VCR (DVD) is turned on or off when you press the power button of the remote controller, the setting is completed. • You can use VCR (DVD) POWER, VOLUME, PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, SKIP and Numeric button (0~9). • The remote control may not work on some brands of VCR (DVD)s. Also, some operations may not be possible depending on your brand of VCR (DVD). • The remote control will work with Samsung VCRs (DVDs) by default. 47
