Delivery report: set the network to inform you when your messages have been delivered. Character support: select a character encoding type. When you select Automatic, the phone switches the encoding type from GSM-Alphabet to UniCode if you enter a UniCode character. Use of Unicode encoding will reduce the maximum number of characters in a message to about half. If this menu is not shown, your phone provides automatic character encoding by default. Bearer selection: select either GSM or GPRS preferred, depending on your network. • Receiving options: activate 3D vivid view mode for displaying received SMS messages on your phone. The phone will convert message text to 3D vivid graphics and displays it in 3D view mode.
