Storing a Number in the SIM Card 4. Enter a name for your contact into the Name field. A SIM card entry only has one available name field. Tab to the next text box by pressing the Down key. For further details about how to enter characters, see "Using ABC Mode" on page 42. 5. Use the keypad to enter a number into the contact Phone Number field. 6. Press the Save soft key or the card. key. The number is saved in your SIM After storing, the phone displays the Phonebook entry you just created. 7. To use the entry options before saving the number, highlight the Name field and press the Options soft key. The following options are available: • Save: saves the number in the SIM card. • Select language: allows you to select between English, Français, and Español. • Cancel: cancels the Add new contact screen and returns you to the previous menu. 8. To use the entry options after saving the number, press the Options soft key. The following options are available: • Edit: allows you to edit the name and number fields in the entry. • Send message: allows you to send a message to the selected number. You may choose between Text message, Picture message, or Voice note. • Call: allows you to place a call to the selected number. • Copy to phone: allows you to copy the number to your Phone. • Send name card via: allows you to send your name card via Text message or Picture message. • Assign speed dial: allows you to set this contact to a speed dial number (2-9). • Delete: allows you to delete the name and number from Phonebook. You are then asked to confirm that you wish to delete the name and number by pressing the Yes soft key. To cancel, press the No soft key. 9. To return to the Idle screen, press the key.
