Switching off the Microphone Mute, Options

2. Press the key to dial the second call. The first call is automatically put on hold. Or 1. Put the current call on hold by pressing the Hold soft key. 2. Make the second call in the normal way. When you have an activate call and a call in hold, you may switch between the two calls, changing the one on hold to activate and placing the other on hold. To switch between the two calls, simply press the Swap soft key. The current call is placed on hold and the call on hold is reactivated so that you can continue conversing with that person. When you want to finish, end each call normally by pressing the key. Switching off the Microphone (Mute) You can temporarily switch your phone's microphone off, so that the other person cannot hear you. Example: You wish to say something to person in the room, but do not want the person on the phone to hear you. To switch the microphone off temporarily: 1. Press the Options soft key or the key. 2. If necessary, press the Down key to highlight the Mute option. 3. Press the OK soft key or the key. The other person can no longer hear you. 30 Section 3
