Section 8 Shortcut The Up, Down, Right, and Left keys can be used as shortcut keys. In Idle mode, they allow you to access specific menus directly. The Phone book, Messages, and Voice messages menus are preset as shortcuts for the Down, Left, and Right keys respectively. You can change the item assigned to each shortcut key. To change a shortcut: 1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key by pressing the Up or Down key, and press the Select soft key or the key. 2. Select the menu to be assigned to the key by pressing the Up or Down key. Note: To deactivate a shortcut, select the None option. 3. Press the Select soft key or the key to save the selection. Extra Settings You can turn the automatic redialing or answering features on or off. 1. To turn a feature on, press the Mark soft key or the key. A check mark displays in front of the option. 2. To turn a feature off, press the Unmark soft key or the key. The check mark no longer displays. The following options are available: Note: The interval between call attempts varies. 100

Shortcut
The Up, Down, Right, and Left keys can be used as
shortcut keys. In Idle mode, they allow you to access

To change a shortcut:
