More detailed descriptions on how the controls work is included in the step-by-step instructions throughout this document. In addition, the Navigating the Software Menus chapter on Page 21 describes the onscreen menus that appear when you use these controls. Start a Recording Follow these steps: 1. Put your player in Voice Record mode. See Using the Recording Controls on Page 18 if you need help with this step. 2. Press the Record button to start recording. 3. Press the Record button to stop recording. Pause a Recording While recording, follow these steps: 1. Press the Play/Stop button to pause recording. 2. Press the Play/Stop button to resume recording. Playback a Recording When you record, an audio file is saved to your player in the Voice folder. Follow these steps to playback recordings: 1. Put your player in Voice Record mode. See Using the Recording Controls on Page 18 if you need help with this step. 2. Press the Select button. The contents of the Voice folder will appear onscreen. 3. Use the Up and Down buttons to scroll through your recording files until you find the file you want to playback. 4. Press the Play/Stop button to playback the file. Recording Notes and Meetings ` 19
