After
transcription
is completed,
you can erase
the cassette.
1. Press
and holddown
the ERASE
button,
thenpress
the REW
button.
2. When
the
tape
reaches
theend,
a beep
tone
sounds.
Press
the
STOP
button
to stop erasing.

You
canalso
perform
"forward
erasing"
bypressing
both
EMSE andFFWD
buttons.
Use as a tape player
rYou
can also play a pre-recorded
cassette
on the unit. Loada cassette
and
press
the PLAY
button.
Use
the FFWD
or REW
button
to advance
or rewind
the
tape rapidly.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
the cablnet
Usea clean
softclothmoistened
with plainlukewarm
water
and wrungdry.
Never
use benzol,
benzene
or otherstrongchemical
cleaners
since
these
could
damage
thefinish
of yourunit.
lt is important
thatno
liquid
reaches
the
inside
of the unit.

Cleanlng
the heads
For
continued
high
performance,
periodically
clean
theheads,
pinch
roller
and
capstan
whenever
an accumulation
of dustand red-brown
oxide
particles
is
noticed.
To do this,
pull
the EJECT
leverto
open
thecassette
compartment
lid.
Remove
the cassette
and switch
offthe power.
Carefully
rub eachhead (4,5), pinch
roller (3) and capstan(2) with a cotton swab (1) moistened
with isopropyl
alcohol
or special
head-cleaning
fluid.
