Using the receiver To adjust the volume: WARNING Hearing damage due to high volumes! Listening at high volume levels for long periods can lead to permanent hearing defects. ̈ Set the volume to a low level before using the product. ̈ Do not continuously expose yourself to high volumes. ̈ Turn the volume control 1 - clockwise to increase the volume - counterclockwise to reduce the volume. Using the "Limiter" function, you can reduce the audio level of the headphone output (see page 18). Ch 4 English Deactivating the lock mode temporarily If the automatic lock mode "Auto Lock" is activated (see page 17), you have to temporarily deactivate it in order to be able to operate the receiver: ታ SET ̈ Press the SET button. "Locked" appears on the display pane. ̈ Press the rocker button. "Unlock?" appears on the display panel. SET ̈ Press the SET button. The lock mode is deactivated. The lock mode icon G flashes prior to the lock mode being activated again (if no button has been pressed for approx. 10 seconds). Setting the receiving channel If several guided tours take place within a building at the same time, i.e. several transmission links are operated simultaneously, the user can switch the channel of the receiver to the channel that is stated by the tour guide. To switch between the receiving channels: ̈ Press the rocker button. The receiver immediately switches to the new receiving channel. If the receiver receives a transmitter on the new channel, the green LED 5 lights up. The "Active" function allows you to show or hide the receiving channels from the standard display (see page 20). 12 | Tourguide 1039
