Basic adjustment settings Power Control Power control setting allows you to save energy. No signal off When set to "Enable", the power will automatically shut down if there is no signal for 15 minutes. 1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and then press c/d to select "Power Control". 2 Press a/b to select "No Signal Off", and then press ENTER. 3 Press a/b to select "Enable", and then press ENTER. Enable Disable Power Management You can set the TV to automatically power off when no image is displayed on PC. 1 Press MENU and the MENU screen displays. 2 Press c/d to select "Power Control", and then press ENTER. • Power control menu displays. 3 Press a/b to select "Power Management", and then press ENTER. 4 Press a/b to select "Mode 1" or "Mode 2", and then press ENTER. Off Mode 1 Mode 2 • Five minutes before the power shuts down, the remaining time displays every minute. 4 Press MENU to exit. • "Disable" is the factory preset value. • When a TV program finishes, this function may not operate. No operation off The power will automatically shut down if there is no operation for 30 minutes or 3 hours after setting. 1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and then press c/d to select "Power Control". 2 Press a/b to select "No Operation Off", and then press ENTER. 3 Press a/b to select "30min" or "3Hour", and then press ENTER. • Five minutes before the power shuts down, the remaining time displays every minute. 4 Press MENU to exit. Selected item Description Off • No power management • Factory preset value. Mode 1 • If no signal inputs for approximately 8 minutes, the power shuts down. • Even if you start using the PC and the signal inputs again, the TV stays off. • The TV turns on again by pressing POWER. (See page 17.) Mode 2 • If no signal inputs for approximately 8 seconds, the power shuts down. • When you start using the PC and the signal inputs again, the TV turns on. • The TV turns on again by pressing POWER. (See page 17.) NOTE • If you turn off the power by disconnecting AC cord when setting "Mode 2" in power management, the TV may not function properly after turning the power on again. In such case, press POWER on the remote control unit. • Pressing POWER on the display will have the same result. • In Mode1, five minutes before the preset of time expires, the remaining time displays each minute. • "Disable" is the factory preset value. 30
