WASTE mode This mode is used to throw away an article which has already been prepared and is no longer serviceable. 1. Touch the [WASTE] key. The POS terminal will enter to the WASTE mode. (The trash can icon appears at the information/status window.) 2. Enter items to be wasted. (Please refer to item registration section.) 3. Touch the [WASTE] key again to quit the WASTE mode. NOTE • PLU entries are only allowed in the WASTE mode, and direct and indirect void operations are also allowed in this mode. • When a WASTE mode transaction is finalized, the drawer does not open. • The consecutive number is incremented every WASTE mode transaction. • When the WASTE mode is activated by touching the [WASTE] key, the mode icon (trash can) is displayed. • Condiment compulsory may be ignored depending on programming. 53

WASTE mode
This mode is used to throw away an article which has already been prepared and is no longer
serviceable.
1.
Touch the [WASTE] key.
The POS terminal will enter to the WASTE mode. (The trash can icon
appears at the information/status window.)
2.
Enter items to be wasted.
(Please refer to item registration section.)
3.
Touch the [WASTE] key again to quit the WASTE mode.
NOTE
•
PLU entries are only allowed in the WASTE mode, and direct and indirect void operations are also
allowed in this mode.
•
When a WASTE mode transaction is finalized, the drawer does not open.
•
The consecutive number is incremented every WASTE mode transaction.
•
When the WASTE mode is activated by touching the [WASTE] key, the mode icon (trash can) is
displayed.
•
Condiment compulsory may be ignored depending on programming.
