Match the ribs on the knee lifter with the notches in the knee lifter socket and insert the knee lifter. q Knee lifter w Ribs on Knee lifter e Notches on machine Push the knee lifter with your knee to raise and lower the presser foot. NOTE Keep leg away from lifter while sewing. Pressing on knee lift while sewing will effect feeding of fabric and the thread tension. 5
