1 AC IN connector Connects to an AC power source through the supplied AC power cord. 2 DC output connector (XLR-type, 4-pin) Supplies DC power through an optional DC power cord to a portable device except camcorder. 3 DC output connector for battery charging (square-shaped, 5-pin) Supplies power for charging a lithiumion battery pack. The charging current is automatically blocked when a battery pack other than a lithium-ion battery pack has been mistakenly attached. 4 Lock release lever To remove the battery pack, pull the battery pack upward while pushing the lever. 5 AC power indicator The indicator lights up when the ACDN10 is connected to an AC power source. This indicator does not light up, however, when the attached lithium-ion battery pack is used as the back-up power supply. 6 Charging indicator Shows the charging status of the attached battery pack. For details on charging status, see "About the charging indicator" on page 13(E). 7 DC output connector (squareshaped, 5-pin) Supplies DC power to a camcorder, portable editor or field editor, connected directly to the AC-DN10. 7 (E)
