Guidelines for safe and efficient use Changes or modifications to this transmitting device not expressly approved by Sony Mobile may void the user's authority to operate the equipment. Please check for any exceptions, due to national requirements or limitations, in usage of transmitting equipment before using this device. Taking care of your device • At a high volume outside sounds may become inaudible. Avoid listening to the unit in situations where hearing must not be impaired, for example, while driving or cycling. • Do not expose your device to levels of dust, dirt, liquid, moisture or humidity above or outside the intended use. • The operating temperature of the device is between -10°C (+14°F) and +35°C (+95°F). • Do not use any other accessories than Sony Mobile originals intended for use with this device. • Do not attempt to disassemble your device. • Microwaves emitting from a Bluetooth device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices. Turn off the headset and other Bluetooth devices in the following locations, as it may cause an accident where inflammable gas is present, in a hospital, on an airplanes, or a petrol station. • Do not expose the device or its accessories to magnetic mediums (diskettes, credit cards, etc). • Caution: Cracked or broken parts may create sharp edges or splinters that could be harmful upon contact. • Heat may be generated when used. If you feel irritation or discomfort remove the product. Radio frequency exposure Your transmitting device is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used with any compatible Sony Mobile device. Safety and health aspects • This device may contain small parts that could become detached and create a choking hazard. Keep this device away from children or other supervised individuals to prevent such hazard. • This device may contain small magnet(s). Swallowing magnet(s) could cause serious harm, such as choking hazard or intestinal injuries. Keep this device away from children or other supervised individuals to prevent any such harm. If you know or suspect that you or anyone has swallowed a magnet, seek medical attention immediately. • This device contains magnet(s) which may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, programmable shunt valves, or other medical devices. Do not place this device close to such medical devices or persons who use such medical devices.
