Turn the JOG dial until the desired Artist Name
appears in the display.
The Artist Names are displayed in alphabetical
order.

Press the JOG dial to assign the Artist Name.

You can assign an Artist Name to a disc while the
front cover is open
Notes
You cannot assign an Artist Name to a disc when no Artist
Name is stored. In this case, “ARTIST FILE?” does not
appear in the display in step 3 above.
You cannot assign an Artist Name to an album.
Removing the Artist Name from the disc

Turn the JOG dial to select the desired disc.

Press MENU/NO.

Turn the JOG dial until “ARTIST FILE?” appears
in the display.

Push the JOG dial.

Turn the JOG dial counterclockwise until “FILE
ERASE?” appears in the display, then push the
JOG dial.
The assigned Artist Name is removed from the
selected disc.

You can also erase the Artist Name while assigning
the Artist Name

In step 2 above, turn the JOG dial until the Artist
Name you want to erase appears in the display, then
push the JOG dial.
