Playing an audio CD or ATRAC3plus/ATRAC3/MP3 files About the display While the CD player is playing, the following indications appear on the display. You can also check the remaining time, track name, etc. using DISPLAY/ (see pages 20 and 21). After a short time it will disappear automatically and the display will return to the normal one. File number File name/Playing time Notes • The characters A - Z, a - z, 0 - 9, and _ can be displayed on this CD player. • Before playing a file, the CD player reads all file and group information on the CD. "READING" is displayed. Depending on the content of the CD, it may take some time to accomplish this reading. • If you try to play a CD-R/RW which has not been finalized, "SESSION" and a session number appear on the display.
