Shooting images easily (Auto adjustment mode) The following procedure is for shooting a still image. ɠ Shutter button Zoom button MENU button Control button Microphone Flash Self-timer lamp Tripod receptacle (bottom) HOME button Lens cover DISP button Lens Flash button Macro button Self-timer button GB 1 Slide the lens cover downward. 2 Hold the camera steady, keeping your arm at your side. Position the subject in the center of the focus frame. 3 Shoot with the shutter button. Still image: 1 Press and hold the shutter button halfway down to focus. The z (AE/AF lock) indicator (green) flashes, a beep sounds, the indicator stops flashing and remains lit. 2 Press the shutter button fully down. The shutter sounds. AE/AF lock indicator Movie: Press the HOME button, and select [ Movie Mode] in (Shooting) (page 17). 13
