This unit is designed for use with flash units having a voltage of 60 V or less. The sync terminal is compatible with both center positive (normal polarity) and center negative (positive polarity) flash units. When using the flash with this unit, set the camera as following. Set the exposure mode to M mode. Set the shutter speed equal to whichever is slower: 1/125 second or a recommended preset level, or to a slower speed. When using the custom white balance, set the shutter speed and aperture to the required exposure and use a gray card for calibration. If you use a white card, the light level will exceed the measurable light level. "Custom WB error" will appear on the LCD screen of the camera.
