When the Memory Recording Unit is connected to a compatible PC via the i.LINK connector, it is recognized as an external drive and can be used to access files. When connected to a compatible video device (such as a VTR or NLE system) via the i.LINK connector, it can be used to input/output a DC Power Input HDV/DVCAM/DV stream.
